The Chief Justice's end-of-term statement is on the court's website:

I haven't seen the various other media stories that you are all asking about. I will note that the chief tends to put the questions before the court in his introductory section but doesn't answer them, unlike, say, Justice Kagan. It creates a lot of fun suspense but makes it harder to figure out what's going on quickly.

This has been so much fun, today and this term. I wish I could stay and chat more but I have to start writing my stories on Mazars and Vance, especially now that I know we're getting orders -- which, yes, could include Collins v. Mnuchin and Mnuchin v. Collins -- at 2 pm. Thanks so much for joining us, and stay well!

The debate over and analysis of today's big cases will continue. But I am going to sign off. As one who usually does not get to participate in the Live Blog because I am in the courtroom, it has been fun this spring and summer. We'll see what happens next term. Stay safe everyone and have a good summer!

Thanks so much for joining us, everyone. For all of you with questions we couldn't answer (over 2,000 - they came in quickly today), please stay tuned for lots of analysis on the blog over the coming days, including final orders in pending cases at 2 p.m. and a final stat pack. It's been an exciting term. Until next year - stay safe and enjoy summer. And most importantly: Thank you to Edith! We (and I personally) will miss you dearly. You've been an amazing editor, and we wish you all the best in retirement.
