In this post, Amy Howe answers many "frequently asked questions" about orders and opinions. To clarify, today we are only expecting opinions in argued cases. Here's the link: https://www.scotusblog.com/2019/06/faqs-announcements-of-orders-and-opinions-3/

We are expecting opinions at 10 am. The justices will hold their private conference later on today, so we won't get any orders today. Those are expected at 9:30 am on Monday. We'll be waiting with bated breath to see what happens with the government's petitions in the DACA cases, which the justices will consider again this week after not acting on them on Monday.

I broke down the "tea leaves" -- who might be writing which cases -- in a post at my own blog: http://amylhowe.com/2019/06/18/reading-the-tea-leaves-june-18/. But the TLDR is that we still don't know much, other than that Justice Sotomayor is likely writing the opinion in Gundy v. United States. Which is something that I feel like we have known for months at this point.

Question about the Virginia Uranium Inc v Warren decision from Monday. Why was Justice Gorsuch's opinion the lead opinion when Justice Ginsburg's opinion had the same number of concurring justices? Gorsuch joined by Thomas and Kavanaugh and Ginsburg joined by Sotomayor and Kagan.

Is it likely that recent federal judge actions would have any influence on the census question opinion? If the justices decide that the questions on a census are the purview of the administration or the secretary of commerce wouldn’t that invalidate the arguments brought before the other federal judges ?
